Thank you! We were thinking of maybe getting rid of 2 of the males, so it would be 1 male to 2 female then, will see how it goes over the next day or so! Cross fingers it will settle down :-/ x

You have a beautiful fish tank, but to the Molly fry, it doesn't have enough safe place to hide.
1- You have some big fish, bigger than mature Mollies are all dangerous to babies.
2- The neighboring Mollies and even the parents eat their children to fulfill nutrients.

You can add some Moss in a tank corner, such as Java moss, Star moss, Will moss, etc. And a bundles of Coon's tail which anchor from the tank bottom grow to the surface. I often use Cabomba to shelter the fries and imagine that thick bundle of Cabomba just like a jungle to them where they can hide and feed.

If you have fish breeder, you can put Molly couple inside. There they will mate within 2-3 weeks until the mother-to-be is ready. Then just leave her there in the fish breeder until she gives babies.

Feed her little but many times daily is recommended.

So yeah, 3 males 1 female is really bad as it makes the female become stress and unrest, she will pass away soon.
