Most economical quick setup for fry?
Yesterday morning there was 7 guppy fry left by the time I found them. I put them in a temp net inside the main tank but would like to setup a couple of other small, very econimal tanks for nursery use, etc., to raise the babies and keep the mom's seperate from the main tank.
Before heading out to the fish store this morning I read a lot of the posts on it but am still a bit confused as to the filter to get & the foam filter to get to put over that, and the air rocks needed. How is the foam secured over a regular filter? How is more air incorporated into that (is it needed)? Most of the little kits I see have undergravel filters which I don't want to use.
I'm pretty sure which guppy the fry belong to but there's also another 1 or 2 females I would like to separate before the fact, plus have a small tank setup for the fry.
Thanks so much for any help you can offer. :D
