More guppy fry

I was so pleased today. One of my guppies gave birth during the day so the kids and I could watch. :)

A good batch, too - 15. Hopefully we'll get sone boys in this lot! The babies from an earlier drop (which I left in the main tank) are all girls - and getting some nice colour in their tails.

See - girls are tough! We can survive pretty much anything! lol

There is different things that can effect the sexual out come of the young, PH, temp,
I myself have found, When you leave them in with the parents to grow,
You get way more females then Males,

Always in NEED & looking for more Tanks!

I've heard different folks say different things,
For me higher PH & Temp gives me way more females,
Leaving them with the Adults gives me even more females,

When I want more Males I keep the temp lower (76) as well as the PH being lower & seperate them from the Adults.
This is just the opposite of what I have heard others claim.,,

So I think somehow their is other variables in play, Like perhaps the water chemistry, your location,

Always in NEED & looking for more Tanks!
