Kribensis Cichlid Fry Questions

So a few weeks ago my Kribs apparently had babies. There is only 6 fry and since then I have moved them into a 10 gallon tank with some baby snails. My questions are:

1. How long will it take them to grow to where I can tell what sex they are?
2. Do I need to feed them anything special?
3. I do water changes every week (I have a 29 Gallon as well) Do I need to increase my water changes in the fry tank?
4. Do I need to put any special chemicals in the water with them?

Thanks for all the help!

Kribs are usually great parents, you should always refrain from removing them unless you absolutely have to do so, they will take care of their offspring.

Anyhow, it's quite difficult to tell you the growth rate because it can be sporadic with kribs, quick, slow, slow, quick, slow etc etc. They just have all around really funky growth rates. But I'd probably guestimate around 4-6 months and they'll be about 2 -> 2 1/2" inches.

If you kept the fry with the original parents, then do water changes as you normally would in that aquarium, if you isolated them then then I'd say change the same.

In regards to food, you can generally just crush up shrimp pellets or fish flakes and it will do the trick, you can also try hikari first bites. Baby brine shrimp is also a good fry food.

The only thing special that should go in the aquarium is TLC;
