Hi I plan on breeding kribs and have a spare 10 gallon. Would I be okay putting a pair in the tank while they breed and when they stop tanking care of the fry move them back? Would that split the pair or am I just over worrying. Any suggestions on how to set it up.
Get a 20 gal, and house the pair in there permanently. Lots of plants and caves - overturned flowerpots are perfect. They will choose their site to spawn.
Put some danios or barbs with them so they don't beat each other up. The fry are really small, so you'll have to feed them on infusoria and microworms.
Ten gallon is the best I can do. I will just have to catch some off the old fry and put them in the tank and let them grow
