Killifish breeding

I thought I had three male green gardneri kilifish but when looking in my tank today I think two were making sweet music. I did video this episode but am unable to upload it for verification.

How can you tell the difference between the male and female?

Females don't have nearly the intensity or coverage of color. There are no lyers on the tail in most cases or they are very undeveloped. When they are kept under optimal condition, the females color up significantly, but the males should increase in intensity as well.

Instagram this us the video footage.

It's a little short but that's what they kept doing, rubbing themselves up against each other.

The males are most likely sparring/dancing for pecking order.

Really? Definitely looked like he was trying to slide his male member into the other one.
