I went to Petsmart yesterday and bought 2 Dalmation Mollies. A female and a male. They were acting strange before I went to bed last night. The male was hiding in the house and the female was staing stationary behind it. Before she started acting weird, I noticed how flat her stomach was, indicating she was most likely pregnant. I figured she was going to abort due to the stress from moving around so much. (This was an hour after she was at home in the tank.) Her and the male seemed to be following one another around the tank before the strange behavior. When I fed them, the male was picking on the female and she was picking back. Then they went into the strange state. I put a thin fleece blanket over my tank, turned the light out and went to sleep. Before I fell asleep, I lifted a corner and saw the male had come out from hiding. When I woke up this morning, I gave them a bit of breakfast and checked my tempurature in the tank. I noticed neither of them were eating, so I left them be and got on the computer. It then crashed so I decided to check on them again. I saw a small tanish-brown thing, that I though was fecies at first. I took in some common sense and decided it wasn't. It moved. And again. Then I saw it's eyes. My female was giving birth! She had around 20 fry. So far, I know at least 5 are dead. They may have been still-born. I think this was her first batch. There is a net breeder in there at the moment and tomorrow afternoon the living fry will be put into a small aquarium we bought this morn with the net breeder. At the moment, the fry are all lying in the bottom of the net breeder. It is much too large for my tank and the adult Mollies don't like it very much. The other tank needs the water to purify first, though. Are Molly fry supposed to lie in the bottom like that, or is there something wrong with them? When should I try feeding them? Can someone please help me???

None of them made it through the night. Four of them were still alive when I went to bed, but now none remain. As soon as I remove the net breeder they're in, I'm going to give mum and dad a bit of Zucchini. I'm erally afraid dad's not going to be with us too much longer. I think there's something wrong with him.
