i breed my female guppy.

the spot was red? she wont give birth until the spot near her tail is black (these are the eyes of the babies).

well she has the black spot under the fin and now theire is a red spot right under the black one

oh ok... sorry i didnt understand what you were saying before. well i dont know exactly how long but i would imagine within the next few days?.?.?.

if anyone else knows please sat so because im not positive about this one.

Um, I *think* that this reddish spot is actually the fish poop. I've just noticed in my guppies that they get a brownish reddish spot there sometimes, a while after they've been fed, and after they poop it goes away. (Ok, this may have been too much information). The thing you're looking for is a black spot, and you'll know she's ready to give birth when she "squares out"- it's usually pretty hard to miss, the part of her stomach where the gravid spot is kinda sticks out and her bottom half looks squarish.
