I think you just have to wait until they grow bigger. I can't even tell the difference between platies and mollies full grown! Can you tell those apart? Enjoy your babies... I'm still waiting for some!!

Lol when their full grown i can, their colors and patterns are different, I only have one baby that i dont know which it is :) the other 4 died, but its okay, that baby is in with a new big bunch of sword fry :)

the wait is the worse lol
my sword was holding out on me until i put her in her own BIG tank, 14 gallons and then next day she had her babies (today) :) quite happy now :)

True true.. Platy's are two tone ? So they should be obvious. lol. compared to a molly... but the last time I was at the LFS they had Black Swords. Well they looked exactly like the black female mollies I had.
Now you've done it!! Now I have to take some time and go look at them all closely now to see what the difference is!! LOL you know every day I learn something new in here!
Yeah to more babies!

oh man, i want a black sword........ but as fry goes, it takes them a while to gain their colors, i really want to know if white molly fry are born white...... if this one fry is a platy(which im pretty sure it is) then my mollies really need to kick it into gear and have some babies! lol, I have 2 tanks running for freshwater, and am soon getting a third, i will have room:) plus i dont mind ovestalking cause i have nothing else to do but do water changes lol
