im so proud of my success with breeding discus My blues are back to spawning so i have them in there own tank but the eggs all went white I really hope dad is not an infertile male an the pair that hadd all these many lovely fry are also back to spawning but im not raising anymore of there fry till after I get a few batches of the blues.. the 2nd back of the reds about 100 fish I let my freind Bethany take care of them so her an her husband are raising them for me since I'm having really bad issues this year in my life everything took a turn for the worst so that was really nice of her shes the one person that bought all of my angelfish fry when I was raising those an we both went in an bought about 20 discus an started breeding them she has tons of gorgeous snakeskins? tigers? not sure what there called but omg there amazing just puts u into a trance when I go visit herill be sure to take pics for u guys n vids

Good luck with the new parents. I hope they sort it out. You would hate to take her from her mate and give her another. That's sad.

well i got some amazing news! The Great Lakes Aquarium u can google that I get to be a volunteer an possible work there they were so impressed with me already an my Discus breeding some of my babys will be in there huge display tanks! :D

Plumkin I'm thrilled for you!! What a dream come true!! See keep an open mind and you never know where your Discus will take you!! If we had said, " Plumkin, those babies will get you to a job at the aquarium" you would have told us we were nuts. LOL We're so proud!!
There is talk of building an aquarium in Toronto. I can't wait. They will have to wipe the nose prints off the glass everytime I visit. lol

How many water changes do you do per week because I have heard from another discus forum that 2 50% WC a week isn't enough
