haha it makes you rip your hair out of your head! lol I hate it I shut the light off for 5 mins an they ate all there eggs what brats! well I can move them safely now =].

Lol, don't worry, they will spawn again soon. My pairs took about five spawns before they got it right.

=] I wish my blue colbats would spawn they nip at there pot but then dont seem to interested I wonder why

Unless they are a confirmed pair you have no way of knowing if they will ever spawn until they do. They may never spawn, even though they are poking at the pot. Two of my Discus are always poking at the same spot but nothing has ever happened. I've had them for two years. At least you have another pair that are actively spawning.

AWESOME!!!! CONGRATS!!!

I bought 6 Juvie Discus in April this year, 4 Red Turqs and 2 Blue Turqs. Can't wait until mine pair up and spawn, I am practicing with Angelfish until then also (I have 3 breeding pairs). I actually am raising a spawn of gold x marble fry, and in about 10 minutes ill be feeding them some BBS lol just waiting for the BBS hatchery to settle.

I will definetly come back to watch your progress, good luck!

PS- I didn't read everything as I am in a hurry, but are you going to self-raise the Discus fry or let the parents take care of them for about 2 weeks?

let parents take care of them for 2 weeks an thats what i did was raise angels first -=]

2nd spawn already wow they spawn really fast compared to angelfish!! still only about 90 eggs is this normal?
