Blood worms and brineshrimp are too small for my oscar. I do use peas and shrimp along with 3 types of pellets. Its just anothr way to vary his and his tankmates diet (polypterus and JD eat them too) Live is entertaining for me and als allows my oscar to use its natural hunting insticts which i think is important in simulating a more natural fish life. I know feeder fish can carry parasites which is why im breeding them myself.....i see how theyre doing everyday and know exactly how their water is and what they eat from day one of their life.
