Ghost Shrimp

So I got 4 ghost shrimp about two weeks ago and have them in my small 3 gallon cube at home with 3 neon tetras. I just noticed today that the biggest ghost shrimp has a cluster of eggs on her belly! Is there anyway I can help these ghost shrimp fry survive? I wasn't at all prepared for them to breed!

I'm betting the tetras will eat as many as they can. Dense plants to hide in may help. They have food for shrimp fry, but you have to order it on line, I've never seen it in stores. Survival of the fittest!

Dence tank is important
If I were you I would move out the neons into a 10G tank and get a school of them (6 or so) as they are a schooling fish! 3 gallons is very small for 3 fish!

I agree. The tetra need a larger tank and a shoal of at least 6. More if you get a larger tank.

As for the ghost shrimp breeding, I wouldn't count on any surviving. They are notoriously hard to breed. Larvae hatch from the eggs instead of fully formed shrimp (like with red cherry shrimp).
