German Blue Rams Bickering after Unsuccessful Spawn

Purchased 2 German Blue Rams hoping they would be a pair. They are young fish. They were each housed in a different tank when purchased. Put them in our 55 gal community tank and they spawned 2 days later. Was not what I was hoping for so soon BUT. Whatcha gonna do?? That's Mother Nature. They both played a part in eating some of the eggs and then neglected them for the most part.
Well., now they are bickering. The Male is being relentless with her. I have given them hiding places but she still wants to be near him. Don't know if it will work but I have removed him for now. Did a partial water change, changed some of the decorations around hoping to make him think he is in a different enviroment. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

The male is wanting to spawn again. Th female is not ready. you may have to move him.

I had moved her to a smaller quiet tank to recuperate for his insistance but she died last night. We may try at another time. Thanks for your help.
