German Blue Ram Pair ?

Hi I have a couple of gbr and I was wondering how to tell if they are picking their spawning place... The male always pecks away at the rock where they hang out. Hey also pecks away at other places. There is also a pit in one of the front corners of the tank... and I have no idea how it got there. I think they have already paired off but who knows. Is this common behavior for choosing a spawning point?

Yep, that's what they do. They dig a little pit and then peck at it to clean it off, then start spawning. Good luck with them!

they most likely ate their eggs. If they are a young breeding pair they will do that, i had the same experience.
