Full Red Albino Guppies

Hi All,

I figure I would start a post about my Full Red Albino Guppy Colony that is stil in the early stages of growth.

I received them on August 15, 2010 from a trade I did. I got 5 three month old juvie females and 3 adults (1 male and 2 females).

Female 1 - dropped overnight on September 2, 2010 and no fry were found in my planted tank.
female 2 - I put her in a breeder trap and got 8 fry from her on September 8, 2010.

Here is a vid of the new borns.

Cant wait to they color up .

cute babies =) looks like you got lucky but to be sure you have nice babies you'll have to get a non preggie female and get her pregnant with your preferred male becoz right now you don't know who the father is.

How cute! I hope that your red albino guppy babies do well. I had some rare black platy babies born from my bumblebee platies and out of 6 blk. fry born only 4 made it and are doing well.Black has a lethal gene thats why they are rare and you do not see them much in the hobby as they never make it to adulthood. I call them my Orca platies as some have a slight white to them and look like Orca whales in pattern. I'm hoping that some of these are male and female. Platies take along time to develop and may take several months over other livebearers as they all appear to be female now.
