Hello! I am new here. Just a quick intro about myself, I have a 75 gallon aquarium with a collection of assorted Mollys, swordtails, platys, tetras, and a few other fish that i dont know what they are called. I have artificial plants and pebbles and a liner that the rocks sit on top of. I try to breed mostly fish from the molly, platy, family. I have been breeding fish for a while off and on and when the fry are born they like to hide underneath the liner. They usually stay down there until they are like 3/4 inch to 1 inch long. My question is, there any way to keep them out so they dont get trapped under there? There are a few holes for filter tubes which are pretty big and that is basically the only way they can get out. But they dont come out. Does anybody have suggestions as to why they might go down there? Are they threatend by other fish?
