Not sure Bichirman but I will try to find out for you or hopefully someone else will post about it. Might even help to start a new topic about it so it can get more attention.

I'm ready for the pressure.
The drama and the pleasure!
If there is one thing I want to see here, it's HUMOR.
I believe I can fly!
I believe I can touch the sky!
I think about it every night and day!
I stand in awe of my body.

I have no experience on bichir fry but I saw a reference with an info you might like.:)

'Some species have been bred in captivity. During spawning, the male spreads out his anal fin so that it is slightly cupped and places it beneath the vent of the female. The eggs and sperm are expelled into the cupped fin. Some species, for example P. ornatipinnis, lay their eggs among plants, while others such as P. palmas let them fall to the bottom. Hatching takes four to five days but the fry are not free swimming untol a few days later. They will take newly-hatched brine shrimp.'

Reference: The Ultimate Encyclopedia of Aquarium Fish and Fish Care by Mary Bailey and Gina Sandford

Again, I have no experience regarding the breeding of bichirs but I hope this might help you.:)
