Many things can dictate when a pair of fish will/can breed. But mostly it about three things---1.conditioning, 2.conditioning, and 3.conditioning. Conditioning the female, conditioning the male, and conditioning the evironment. If you have taken care of these three things the rest not only comes naturally but quite easily.
