fat albino tiger barb

i have seven in my 55g, most of them are young but a few are like an inch long. one of the big ones seems to be very plump... it's been spending a lot of time inside the little tree stump all by itself and will come out every now and then. so could it be fat because of eggs...? i really have no idea, i just didn't think it was normal that he's so round-ish :P

certifiably addicted to coffee... and now to fishkeeping.

could be that it is a female and has got eggs, however i would not have
thought that it would hide.(none of mine ever did)
could you give tank details.Amonia,Nitrate,Nitrite also how often you do water changes, what food you feed,
are there any scales sticking out at all ?

ok so doesn't really matter if she's carrying eggs or not lol i'm pretty darn sure it's a she. i think two of the barbs are female they're noticably more rounded or plumper or whatever, and those two are getting chased around a lot. maybe that's why she was hiding, getting sick of being harrassed? :P
