i have danios and neon tetras, and i have had fry for a while too, and they look like on the sides they have the same glowing part the changes colors as the neon tetras. does this mean they are neons? or is it just blue l-f danio fry with reflected light? i cant get pics tho because even with my good camera i cant get them in a pic, they are still so small

ya, today i finally was looking at them with a magnifying glass and the last one that survived has the same stripes as the older tetras, im so surprised!

it is still very very small, though, so i will try to get a pic but i cant get a pic because the light is bright and gives a bad glare, but i dont want to stun or kill it. srry!

I think that the easiest mouthbrooding cichlid is Saranthodon mossambique. They are not a pretty fish but will spawn on a sponge.

For mouth brooding id go with Geophagus steindachneri, 1M and 3 or 4F and welcome to piles of fry.

ive been told that neons are very hard to keep alive and breed, but it was easy for me. maybe it was that they were kept with other certain fish, im not sure.
