Dwarf Angelfish?

Has anyone ever bred a dwarf angelfish? I know folks tend to pick the largest fish for breeding, but think of the advantage of dwarf angels: you could have more in a tank!

I am not a fish breeder (not on purpose anyway) but I do have concerns anytime anyone wishes to "dwarf" things. My experience is primarily in dogs and many of the dwarf or teacup, mini etc... have other health issues. Not sure how this would relate to fish but if they were less healthy, I wouldn't want to do it.

It all comes down to responsible breeding. The various color and fin forms we have today are all the result of selective breeding. I concur that fish health should not be sacrificed for a size reduction, things like some of the odder goldfish varieties are, to me, inappropriate to breed
