Exclamation Corys laying eggs!

I come into my office and as always glance at my tanks and I don't see my corys running around the bottom. I think oh know so I take a closer look and they are all over the walls of the aquarium. I have 6 corys, 4 peppered and 2 swartz. The largest cory is my peppered and now I see she's a she! The other 3 peppered are males bc they are running her crazy!! It looks as though she takes in the male semen in her mouth and then runs up and down the walls frantically then suddenly she'll leave an egg or two stuck to the glass. She is laying eggs everywhere! I included a few photos! In some of the close ups you can see the eggs in her little fin pouch! They are still at it too! Been going on now for about a half an hour or so.

first off, thats truly remarkable photography. really. im astonished.

second, my cories do that about every 2 or 3 weeks, though now I keep a betta with them and the little (expletive deleted) eats the eggs promptly. If you have just enough water movement to keep the eggs from getting moldy (air stone that I see, should help in the immediate vicinity) the eggs will hatch eventually, but I have had not so much success. I started with 5 I think, im up to 8!! I need to rehome them soon as its only a 10g

im happy for you! getting to watch cories spawn is a neat experience, and apparently fun for the whole shoal lol :)

yes it was definetly cool to see! And the photography thing, well I happen to be a photographer! That's the Olympus E5 combined with the Olympus 50mm f/2 macro lens! It really is a nice set up! So maybe, just maybe I'll have a few little corys running around huh? I do have movement in the water from the filter. I'll keep things posted if they do hatch! Thanks for the comments!

Fantastic photos of an event I've never seen like that before! My albino's have laid eggs again and I am trying to raise the fry at the mo. So many eggs hatched!
