Cichlids mouth brooder

I think my electric yellow is going to let her babies out.. Should I isolate her? There are 3 other decent sized cichilds in the the tank that I am afraid will eat them.

as long as you have plenty of rock work they should hopefully l survive,
you'll be surprised at the smallest places thy hide in.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

You could always use a breeder box. It has a main compartment for mama, bottom compartment for the fry. If you don't want to invest $5-$10 for that, small rock piles work.

I keep my Demasoni in one all the time VERY successfully, and they get about the same size.

Demasoni's shouldnt reach 3.5 to 4 inches at the most. Yellow labs can reach up to 6 inches as males and 4 to5 as females.. I wouldnt do it.
If you are talking bout the standerd breeder box there not even 7 inch long.
The standerd nets are only 6 inchs long.
How could you get 4 to 6 inch fish in there comfortably,

to my surprise.. I found a small baby in the tank today. It's hiding in a corner under a plant.. should I take it out or try to isolate it?

Do you want to keep it. Or if it makes it, it makes it? If you want to keep it move it to anouther tank. Or if its ben in there a few days then it should be fine.
