Can a male crowntail betta breed with a regular female betta

hi,i was just wondering if a male crowntail betta can breed with a regular female betta.I just got a male crowntail betta,but i kinda took it home on a bike,there was a lot of bumps.Hes fine now but they keep flaring at each other,so what do i do?

Yes, they can. Both are the same species. The only difference is their finnage, nothing else.

give him time to adjust. Wait a week or 2 to confirm if hes physicaly well; no diseases, parasites, injuries, etc. Crowntails are known to be more difficult to breed due to their aggressive nature, but, all fish are different. 8)

Are they together? You really shouldn't try to breed them unless you've done your research. It's a big job.

Not only a seperate tank, but different containers for each male! That means a ton of water changes!!
