Arrow Breeding zebra danios in a breeder net?

I have a 29 gallon tank with 3 kribs, 1 blue gourami, 1 otto, 3 swordtails and 5 zebra danios (2m\3f.) I've tried to spawn them in a breeder net a few times. I put the males in and then 3 days later i put in a plump female at night and turn the lights off. The next morning the males chase the female around but she never lays any eggs. The net is near the filter so the water is constantly being moved. What am I doing wrong?

Apparently they can't breed in the net, you have to collect them after they're laid. I have a bunch now, but the problem is I am still trying to figure out how long it is until they're adults (my topic is still unnoticed, you know)
