| || | Breeding Golden Rams
I have a pair of Golden Rams in a 20 gallon tank. They are by themselves, except for one neon to keep them company. This morning I noticed a batch of eggs on the top of a piece of clay flower pot. This is second time they have laid eggs, and in both cases, the male ram is the one standing guard, and he has chased off both the neon and the female ram. I have experience breeding and raising kribs, but this is my first time with rams. Is this normal for the male to take over? With kribs, once I'm sure they have bred, I usually remove the male from the tank and let the female take care of the fry. What is reecommended with rams? Leave both parents in? Take them both out? Or what?
