breeding ghostshrimp

i was thinking of trying to breed ghostshrimp. i was wondering what i need to do to be sucessful in doing so water parameters, how many shrimp. as well as how do i tell male from female. i have a seperate 10gal tank that has been running for about 3 wks if not more. i have a single danio in there. the temp is around 72 and it has a small filter. i had originally set the tank up for a quoratine tank for my twig catfish that i got. she has been placed in my tank now so i wanted to do something with the tank.
thanx
