Breeding Genetically Modified Danio's...

Firstly does anyone own them, you know the green ones... lol

Secondly, if I was to breed them, would the offspring be the same?

I'd assume they would be because of the genetics, but then again I could be wrong.

Thanks,

Take it FWIW:

GloFish® Fluorescent Fish License Notice

Quote:
GloFish® fluorescent ornamental fish are intended solely for visual enjoyment as aquarium fish by end users who have purchased these fish from authorized resellers, and not for commercial reproduction.
...
4) Intentional breeding and/or any sale, barter, or trade, of any offspring of GloFish® fluorescent ornamental fish is strictly prohibited.

5) Notwithstanding the foregoing, production of these fish is permitted for educational use by teachers and students in bona fide educational institutions, provided, however, that any sale, barter, or trade, of the offspring from such reproduction of these fish is strictly prohibited.
...
I don't know what colors you'd end up with if bred...I'd be interested to know as well.

So, reading over the site, lol... genetically the colors will stay, however I'd love to see say a green and red breed to see if one color is dom or would it be split.... or possibly show up as a different color.

Granted I couldn't sale them... but it would still be fun.

I already breed danio's so it wouldn't take me long to figure it out.
There is a shop about 6 mins from my place, come to find out, that sales them... time to go shopping lol.
