Breeding Dwarf Qouramis

i read on a website that for breeding dwarf gouramis, lower the water level to 8 inches and increase the temp. to 80 degrees fahrenheit... is lowering the water necessary.

I plan to , one day, see the world from above.

No, but by lowering the water level you decrease water agitation(theoretically). I leave them in larger tanks and use floating plants, such as elodea, and lower surface agitation and also give the male something to which to anchor his bubble nest. Most lfs's do not sell female as they have no color and will not sell.
