Breeding cories in a 25 gallon

If I were to breed Corydora Paleutus in a 25, and they succesfull bred, would a 3.5 gallon, a 2 gallon tall, and 1 gallon be enough to raise them in until there big enough to not get eaten? Then would they be safer in a ten gallon with 5 female bettas or back in the 25 gallon? Would just an air stone be enought or do they need a proper filter? And a heater is necessary too, right? Or can they just float in a breeder trap thing I could make and that be sufficient?

Fish fry generally need "more and better" in order to thrive. Not only do they require filtration, but frequent water changes and feedings. I would use a twenty long at first, with a sponge filter or two and possibly only half filled initially to assist their ability to find food. Raising fry usually cannot be accomplished in unfiltered tanks and critter cages.

I have a filter for the 3.5, and I cant get anymore tanks. O was just wondering if I could with what I have.

probably do better to divide your 20 long to give them some refuge.
