Breeding cories in a 25 gallon

If I were to breed Corydora Paleutus in a 25, and they succesfull bred, would a 3.5 gallon, a 2 gallon tall, and 1 gallon be enough to raise them in until there big enough to not get eaten? Then would they be safer in a ten gallon with 5 female bettas or back in the 25 gallon? Would just an air stone be enought or do they need a proper filter? And a heater is necessary too, right? Or can they just float in a breeder trap thing I could make and that be sufficient?

More Q tomorow, got to go.

Fish fry generally need "more and better" in order to thrive. Not only do they require filtration, but frequent water changes and feedings. I would use a twenty long at first, with a sponge filter or two and possibly only half filled initially to assist their ability to find food. Raising fry usually cannot be accomplished in unfiltered tanks and critter cages.

probably do better to divide your 20 long to give them some refuge.
