breeding cherry barbs

has any1 ever managed to breed these. ive herd its easy but never dun it. i want to make like a breeding tank or 2 at some point and one of the fish i would like to breed is the cherry barb so thought ill ask

You'll have to use fine-leaved plants for them to deposit their eggs in one of them. Get some fine gravel or sand substrate and plant some Cabomba or Giant Ambulias in your tank. Cherries lay eggs among them.
