Breeding Bettas

I will be breeding bettas soon and when they are building bubble nest would they build it under nothing or do they need a leaf or something?

My Tanks and Fish -

72 Gallon -

2 Dominoe Damsels
2 Talibut's Damsels
3 True Percula Clownfish
1 Bulb Anemone
6 Snails
1 Hermit Crab
3 Crabs
1 Zoanthid Coral Colony

29 Gallon -

3 Candy Cane Tetras
3 Longfin Serpea Tetra
5 Glofish
2 Blue Moon Platys
2 Tiger Barbs
2 Pictus Catfish
1 Bristlenose Plecostomus
2 Olive Snails

Breeding Set-up -

3 - 10 Gallon Tanks
1 - 5.5 Gallon Tank

Please visit this section of the site and read all our stickies before asking any further questions. One of the most important things to consider is that you will eventually have to jar the fish, and will need a heated fish room, and a couple hours to do water changes every other day.
Much bigger commitment than other fish which can stay together throughout growth.
