Well its been a bit over a month since my 2 rams tried, hoping third time is the charm.....

Heres a couple pics, they laid in a hard spot to get my camera into, plus there are a ton of reflections but these are the best I got.

The Snail you see next to dad was attacked by mom 5 secs after the picture was taken, shes keeping a wide berth for her babies.

Well third time was a failure... I think next spawning I'm going to separate the male and see if it makes any difference.

For some reason I think hes the one eating the eggs as they get to the wiggler stage, because he seems to be chasing the female away just after the eggs are no longer there.

Round four just began today, but didnt feel like starting a new thread with such the great success rate I've been having. Plan on going to walmart tomorrow and buying stuff to make a divider see if that helps, should have at least another 36 hours until they eat the eggs.

I've been looking for this fish (Bolivian Ram) Where are you getting yours? I can't find them at any of the LFS around here. Notice you talked about going to Walmart - are you finding these at Walmart??

No they were in my local fish store, seem to think they probably come from a local breeder since they said they dont get them in all to often, I just lucked out.

I just separated the male today and are feeding them really well, we will see if this helps.
