Just came home today and caught my rams spawning again, hoping these make it further then the last batch that got eaten at the wiggler stage. Also this is 2 week and 1 day from the last day they spawned just like everything I've read about them spawning every two weeks or so.
yah my rams ate there eggs twice but then the male got a gash from who knows what and he died... I got a pecto ram and I am thinking of taken him back and getting one from my lfs.
Well I can't give you too much advice as it was kind of a surprise to me when these two laid their first eggs, at that point I still wasn't sure what sex they both were. I think it helped to keep them in their own tank with no other fish, so they had to concentrate on just each other which I'm sure helped with them pairing. Kind of a "Well it turns out there aren't so many fish in the sea, so I guess you will do".
I just bought 2 rams today One being male the other female they said Im not to sure if they are right about that but i guess i will find out there German Blue Rams so pretttty got pink on one of there bellys alot of there rams had pink belly sso cute! they look like clowns with all tha tmake up
