Bolivian Ram Eggs
Hey guys I just noticed my 2 Bolivian Rams laid some eggs, can anyone point me to some good resource on their care? Hatch time? Diet?
Well I did some research online which as helped me figure out what to expect, most of the eggs were lost but there seems to be about 10 wigglers at this point! Hopefully sometime this next week I will have free swimming fry, now to figure out the whole hatching of brine shrimp so they can eat....
most people think bbs is too small to feed ram fry. as you have probably learned the eggs should hatch around 60 hours
38 gallon :
Pelvicachromis Taeniatus Nigerian Red not yet breeding pair
4 Pangio Kuhli
12 Hemmigrammus Bleheri
2 Botia Lohachata
1 Botia Straita
1 Ancistrus Sp.
6 Poecilia Reticulata
The Wet Spot Portland Oregon!!!!!!
ADA: Do!aqua Iwagumi 10 gallon size!
7 Clown Killies
7 Ghost shrimp
Well I don't have any other fish in there with them, but it looks as if last night they had some parental problems in how to raise the fry, which ended in the male chasing the female away and eating the wigglers. Since the eggs were laid the female has not allowed the male near the spawn so I guess he got mad and ate the fry...... oh well hopefully a few more spawnings and they will work all their issues out and I can finally have some fry.
