Best fish that doesn't lay a trillion eggs.

I've personally kept a tank consisting of hatchets, guppies, zebras, albino cory catfish, mystery snails, and neon tetras in it. I've kept them for 3 years and the last zebra finally croaked (I'm sort of glad it did since the only pal it had was the snail)

My tank is a 30 gallon and I do have experience with fish, I can buy a separate tank for the fry but I was wondering what fish gives birth to the smallest amount of fry? I just don't want to be the owner of 200 angel fish begging the pet store to take them all.

Any suggestions?

you dont have to get a pair of fish you can just get one of a few differnt kinds or just females of some types so they wont pop out babys and i would be so GLAD if my angels would ever have some eggs sigh -,-

The best method is to keep a community tank with some big mouths around, they will thin out the fry/eggs.
