Baby panda cories

I'm so excited!! I haven't been trying to breed at all and though I've seen eggs a couple of times I've never seen babies. Until today!! I have at least three baby panda cories. They're about 1/2 inch in size and sooooo cute. I've done absolutely nothing to encourage breeding and have always left the eggs to be eaten up. Clearly, some survived. I wonder how many are hiding in there.

How old are they? My cory babies are about a month old now and are about 1/2".

It is nice when they just do it all by themselves. I tried for months toget mine to breed but then gave up. 2 months later I had eggs everywhere.

Congrats on the survivors. The only way mine survived was to raise them in a net breeder.

I have no clue how old they are. Mine are about a half inch also so perhaps a month old as well. I must say they are excellent hiders and blend in easily with my "river rock" gravel. I had to watch my tank for a good half hour today to find the first one. I saw more eggs and mating today so we'll see if I get more babies. :)

I found a few clusters of eggs on a plant today so I removed it to a breeder net. We'll see if I get more babies.

Congratulations again!

You might want to read my post about my bory babies. It's a kind of diary so you can see what worked for me, and where I went wrong. They were my first batch of fry, so there's no solid information, just a diary of events. It might be helpful for you though.
