i know. it is impossible to stop once you start. after my first guppies died(of old age) i only waited a bit before getting more. they are just so addicting! i also have platies and at the mment only 1 molly.

haha yea fry are alot harder to catch, and you dont want to leave any behind :( but i have found a few in the tank a couple of days later :D
Im also addicted to platies and swordtails lol i love the colours :D

yeah arent they great! just yesterday i found 2 fry in my tank. i think they are guppies. know that i have a female sword in the tank most the fry get eaten so it is even more exciting to find them. :D

hehe congrates :D
and ive just had the same luck i got two new platies and so they came down with ich so i out them in my fry tank to medicate them and the next day i found some fry swimming around :D i dont know if they are still there though :(

congrats to you to! hehe. it is kinda weird cuz just after i got my 2 platies they came down with ich. thankfully they got better and now i have 1 baby platy in my tank. it was a real treat to have the only surviving baby platy be born on christmas.

hehe aww good luck with her/him im not looking for the platy fry cuse it will only upset me if i cant find any or get to attached to one :(
but i still have alot of fry to look after lol :D

My 8 platy and molly fry have a 10 gallon of their own in my tank though If I don't find babies within an hour of them being born my dwarf gourami will eat them. So I only found 4 platy and 4 molly fry.

the same exact thing happens to me except its my swordtail that eats them. but i have been lucky and so far i have 10 little babys.

hehe for me its my betta.
im having a fry die out for some reason. ive lost 6 so far. i think they have velvet so im treating them with salt :(
