my fish had babies about a 2 weeks ago in my 20 gallon tank that used to have mollies in it, and i didnt notice until i put them in my 10 gallon tank so i could put my paque and clown knifefish in there. i tried and tried to catch them but they kept hiding in the plants. but 3-4 days ago they were eating the feeder goldfish i put in there. and the paque seems to be mothering the baby sailfin mollies. they've also been eating through the feeders and going inside them. does this mean they may grow up to be carnivores.
are the babies from the mollies? Are the babies eating live feeders or just nibbling on dead ones? How big are they? I'm guessing by Paque you mean a Pacu right? Many fish will nibble on dead fish whether or not they are carnivorous or not. Most fish are omnivores meaning they eat meat and vegetation and the molly is one of those fish. However, a fish needs to eat according to its biological needs...not how it was raised. So if they are baby mollies they will need to have a molly diet. Keep in mind that Pacu's are also omnivores and even at that they are mostly herbivorous. I've never heard of a Paque though so maybe you are thinking of a different fish.
