Pull the slate as soon as pair have finished spawning (allow male plenty of time to fertilize).
Put the slate in a 1-gallon glass pickle jar with water straight from the tap.
Put in an airline with airstone and very good stream of bubbles. Keep bubbles from blowing directly on eggs.
Add 10 drops hydrogen peroxide every 12 hours until they turn to wigglers, then stop adding hydrogen peroxide.
Once the wigglers all fall from the slate, I have great success using fry rearing jars sold by angelsplus.com.
Hope this helps.
