Angel fry again

And this time they made it to the free swimming stage without being eaten! The parents have been taking good care of them and the fry are doing great so far. Hatched BBS and they've fed a few times already. Its' comical how defensive the parents get when we approach the tank. When Fishin Pole fed them last night mama ferociously went after the scoop as he lowered it towards the tank.

Hi Kymmers....Thanks! yeah it's been a while huh? What two months now I think. I was just watching the fry swimming around the hex tank with mama and papa and they're doing fantastic. Have a fresh batch of BBS in the hatchery, should be ready tomorrow just as the first batch is depleted.

Now we have to focus on getting the 50 gal nursery tank ready so when they reach dime size we can separate them.

I'll PM you and let you know how everything's been going. We DID finally set a date tho! AND we added some new strains to the guppy breeder area! I'll post pics sooner or later. Didn't forget about your shrimp either toots!

Talk to you soon!

~To Austin~ Thanks, they're Blue Neon Angels. We had six and these (so far) are the only two to pair off. Sadly we did loose one of the other four in one of our 55 gal tanks. But there's hope that another set will pair off soon.
