Hi everyone. I bought 2 female mollies from my local store and knew they were pregnant. So far I have one little guy. They both still look very pregnant. How many do they usually have at one time and over how long of a period of time. An hour, a day, a week????

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks

Usually mollies, depending on their size, give birth to likeeee 10-50 fish. Depends on their size and how many times they have had babies before. If it's their first time they might only have a few. Usually over a few hours. Many of the babies end up eaten though so if they are giving birth in the tank, don't expect to find nearly as many as you would if all of them survived. If you can figure out which is giving birth move it to a breeding box and you'll have the highest survival rate.
