Zebra danios should be fine there. Just keep a watch on the betta and the danios as the danios may be a little nippy but will generally leave other fish alone when kept in a group of 6 or more.

What plecos do you have? Panda cories and otos are different.

hmm i think they are panda cories.

oh about over stocking do you think that
3 platies
3 swordtails
3 plecos (still young i will rehome them)
4 or 5 panda cories
1 betta
will be ok in a 29 gallon?

and maybe
4 or 5 danios (not sure yet i have to make sure the lfs stocks them)
thanks again :D

That should be ok. Most of those fish don't get very big. (except the plecos; what kind do you have?)

They are all nice communtiy tank fish. Make sure the cories get enough food with the swordtails being there, though.

fish flakes would be fine for the corys. thats wat i give mine and they love them. just make sure that some make it to the bottom. your plans for your tank sound great! they should all get along just fine. :nicefish:

my cory surprised me when i brought it home. i expected it to swim around the bottom and pick up left over food. but it doesnt do that at all! it is everywhere. he is sooo fun to watch when he goes to the top of the water swims sideways with one fin out of the water like a dolphin! i didnt expect him to do any of that. i love corys. :D
