Zebra Danio pellet food?

Hi everyone,
I am currently into my 3rd week of cycling my 5 gallon tank - using "cycle" and 3 zebra danios. I have had a spike in nitrates and ph, but everything else is normal - including ammonia. I do a 30% water change once per week. My water is cloudy I'm sure from the flake food I feed them. Is there a pellet food available for these little guys? Also, there seems to be a fight for territory, one fish keeps the other two hiding in the plants or at the back or bottom of the tank. She also chases them. Is that normal or is she just a big bully?
Thanks for any suggestions,
Lori :D

My danios spend a lot of time chasing one another, so I'm pretty sure it's normal. My bigger females would often keep some of the smaller males hiding in plants and whatnot, but eventually they got more bold. Maybe try just feeding them less flakes? My danios also seem to like betta pellets.

I agree with batman on this one. I would try feeding them less flakes. I had these words said to me a lot when i first got my tank, "a fishes stomachs are only as big as there eyeball" it got really annoying after hearing it so many times but somehow it didn't stick until i realized that fish will eat themselves to death. Also as far as your femal chasing around the other ones i had the same thing happen and i was afriad that she would stress them out with it until they died, now this might seem strange but i took her out of my tank and put her in a bowl in some of the aquarium water for like an hour and when i put her back in she completely chilled out and now no more chasing, kinda like a timeout or something.
