Would different kuhli loaches school?

I want to get kuhli loaches. I was planing for 6 and I know that they are better in groups but I waswondering what would happen if I got 3 black and 3 regular ones. Would they be ok?

Generally they should be fine since they are the same species. loaches are social but form a pecking order.
