What type of fish is this?

Hey if anyone could tell me what type of fish this is i would be greatly appreciative. My girlfriend came over saying:
"Hey i think this is a really cute fish so i bought it."

it looks like some kind of barb, if it is, it needs to be in a group of about 8


1 29g - one red tailed shark, an opaline gourami, and a bristlenose pleco

Yup - a barb. Not sure exactly which type though. It's really pretty.

As stated, they should be kept in groups of 8 or more. I see a big change in mine when the numbers get low.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

if you figure out which kind it is, let us know. I'd love to add some to my tank
also i just noticed your tank is a 10g, which would be far too small for a school of barbs. i would suggest you take it back to the store. its a shame though

She picked it up from petco it was with some zebra danios according to my girlfriend

i agree, albino tiger barb. you should take it back to the store it will nip your other fish's fins if it doesnt get a school and you won't be able to fit them in a 10g
