wanting to add tank mates

i've lost some fish (to old age), in the past few months and think i am ready to add some new fish into my 30 gallon aquarium to replace them. currently i have the following fish in the 30 gallon,

1 red tail shark
1 roseline danio
3 leopard danios
2 zebra danios
1 tiger barb (and yes i know i should have more than 1, but i am trying not to have these anymore...so as they have slowly died I have not replaced them.)

the shark is a little on the nippy side, so i don't want to put anything in there he will really be tempted to go for.

any ideas?? i had a gourami in there years ago, and I really liked that, but it was before i got the shark, so i don't know if he would be compatible or not.

also- in a 10 gallon, i've got one male cherry barb, three habrosus cories, and 6 harlequin rasboras. can i add to this, or should i just leave it be, since i've not had any issues? I don't want to push the tanks limits. (tank has been up and running three years, and not a single fish death! woohoo!)

in general i take good care of all my aquariums, regular water changes, adequate filtration, test water regularly, and I feed the fish a varied and balanced diet. but i still respect that every tank has its limits. so if anyone thinks I am at a maximum load of fish in either tank, i would rather not risk stressing out the environment. i want to add a few more, but not at the expensive of my current pets.

dont add any of your fish from your 10 gallon tank......More than likely your red tail woudl not like the invasion of space from your cories.......With the red tail shark in a 30 gallon and the lone tiger barb adding a gourami might be a mistake.....He could end up a target for fin nipping........What is the Ph of the water in your 30 gallon? that would help with suggestions for tankmates, if anything is possible to add..........It would be alot easier if you didnt have the red tail, your right on the edge for limitations with him in there

thanks for your suggestions. i will probably just leave the tank as is for now. i love my red tail, but i know he is kinda big and aggressive and so it limits the friends i can put in there. i don't know my ph. i will check that. i usually just test for nitrate, nitrite, and ammonia.
