tiger barbs and a Silver dollar

I have a 10gal tank with 3 tigerbarbs, 1 silverdollar, 1pleco, and one zebra that refuses to die.....

Any how the tigers are nipping and biting the dollar's fins, now the dollar has chunks missing out of his tail!
any way i can stop the nipping?

I have a 29gal tank coming to me, as soon as possible i will be setting up and moving the fish over to the bigger tank.

Silver Dollars are scholing fish that need to be kept in groups on AT LEAST 3, but preferably 6. They also need a tank size of 75g minimum when full grown. The Tiger's are biting because of the minimul amount of space you have all those fish crammed into. 10g is barely enough for some juvenile tigers, let alone a Silver Dollar, a pleco, and a Danio.

Agreed. The 29g tank would work for a nice school of tiger barbs but the silver dollar needs a much bigger tank to house him and a school of his own kind. Tiger barbs are notorious fin nippers, something that's exacerbated by their small numbers and the cramped confines of a 10g tank.

Agree on all the above. These fish vs 10g tank just do not work.
Set up your 29g move the Tiger's over there and up the group size to at least 6. While you do that, sweet talk with your LFS to exchange the silver dollar for tiger barbs, they're not suited for a 29g at all.
The 10g, set it up for a handful of African Dwarf frogs or shrimps, but not fish, at least no fish even remotely close to the sizes you have now.
