Tiger Barbs and eels

Is it possible to put in a half-banded spiny eel with tiger barbs and a rainbow shark in a 30gal tank without a disaster? Only been doing this for a year with the same set up of community fish and just cycled the 30gal for som semi-aggressive

You'll have to choose between the eel and the rainbow shark, as the two will probably fight to the death. I think either one should be ok with the tiger barbs, but you'll probably want to wait for a second opinion in case I'm wrong.

Keep either the rainbow shark or the eel. I'd pick the shark. The eel will be nipped by the tiger barbs.
